COHA was recently awarded a $1000 grant to help provide propane and gas vouchers to those in need through United Way of Central Oregon and the Local Emergency Food & Shelter (EFS) Board. We're so grateful for this grant and the opportunity to share these resources with service providers looking for ways to support their clients.

Our board president, Melissa Blackett, was able to speak to the Bend Bulletin about that grant as well as the effects of recents funding cuts to agencies and organizations through out Central Oregon who serve our homeless neighbors. You can read that article HERE.

Our friends at Mountain View Community Development also had a chance to comment on those cuts and their effects on MVCD programs. You can read that article HERE.
